Abtec Engineering Limited was established
in 1982 and specialises in fabricating other
companies’ products for a wide variety
of industries.
The Company is situated 2 miles from the
M6 Junction 16 and is ideally placed centrally
in England and operates nationally, employing
approximately 60 personnel, being 2 hours
from London, 1 hour from Birmingham, 1 hour
from Manchester, 1 hour from Derby and 4
hours from Glasgow. The Company is ideally
placed to service clients throughout the
United Kingdom.
We are major suppliers of fabrications
in pressure filtrating systems, underground
mining, waste disposable equipment and road
and rail equipment.
Operating from a large fully equipped factory,
the Company is able to offer exceptional
expertise for both large and small projects.
Many customers have developed a close association
allowing regular, detailed, joint development
discussions to ensure they have a continuity
of product supply and this close association
has led to the development of the Company’s
Mission Statement.
In addition to sub contract fabrication
the Company retains its ability to design,
manufacture, supply and install a variety
of engineered projects ranging from Chutes,
Hoppers and Conveyor Systems. The exposure
to this type of operation is limited to
ensure the Company’s turnover is controlled
avoiding the excesses of feast or famine
which is the nature of this type of trading,
moreover by limiting this and specialising
in sub contract fabrication the Company
enjoys a number of substantial benefits
in that space utilisation is much improved
without creating large overheads.
The Company is, therefore, able to offer
high quality work at very attractive and
competitive prices.
